REASONS FOR LATE LAUNCHING OF BAHRIA TOWN PESHAWAR
Following are the different reasons that led to the late launching of the Bahria Town Peshawar project:
Under-process NOC
The NOC is a No Objection Certificate issued by local authorities that allows the company or a person to purchase or construct a particular property. BAHRIA TOWN Peshawar needs NOC from different departments of KPK such as the water department, electricity department, gas/ oil department, and many more. Without the permission of this particular department, this project can’t proceed to its completion. Various news has disclosed that NOC for BAHRIA TOWN Peshawar is under process which is causing a delay in launching this project.
According to official news, on August 19, 2020, the Peshawar High Court has stopped the Director-General of Peshawar Development Authority from the issuance of NOC for BAHRIA TOWN Peshawar till 8 September 2020, but it has not been issued yet.
On-going Land Occupation
The master plan for BAHRIA TOWN Peshawar remained undisclosed but according to the management, it covered a large area of approximately 100,000 Kanals. It locates at Charsadda Road near Northern Bypass and M2 Expressway. BAHRIA TOWN Peshawar provides residential and commercial plots, homes, and apartments. The prices are higher but it is because of the high management and development costs.
COVID-19
Because of the COVID pandemic, the real estate market of Pakistan has had a very difficult time managing its projects.
