Benefits of CDA 16th and 17th Avenue construction for Housing Societies

Ch. Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman of The Capital Development Authority (CDA, has recently announced the construction of 16th and 17th Avenue in Islamabad. Moreover, he has announced several other projects in the I-16 and I-17 sectors of CDA.

This construction project will benefit all private housing societies and commercial investments.

Construction of 16th and 17th Avenue

The two roads named 16th and 17th Avenue will be part of this project. These two roads will come from the Kashmir Highway(Srinagar Highway).

The 16th Avenue will pass through between the I-16 and I-15. Similarly, the 17th Avenue will go towards I-16 1 and I-16 2. Moreover, there will be several Interchanges on the Kashmir Highway in the planning of this project.

The construction location of 17th Avenue at the site where “The Eighteen Islamabad”  has got approval for their separate interchange. On the one side of this site is Faisal Town Phase-1, and The Supreme Court Housing Society is situated. On the other side, “The Eighteen Islamabad”  is nestled. So, all these housing societies will benefit from this infrastructural development.

From here, the 17th Avenue will lead to the Rawalpindi Ring Road, crossing from the center to the Faisal Town Phase-2.

So all the housing societies passing through this road will benefit.

Attractiveness to Commercial Ventures

Good road networks make housing societies more attractive to commercial enterprises, potentially leading to the development of shopping centers, offices, and other business ventures, further driving up property values.

Increased Development Opportunities

Investors may find new opportunities for residential and commercial projects along the new roads, capitalizing on the enhanced connectivity and demand.

Properties in well-connected areas are not difficult to market and sell, making them more liquid investments. The promise of ongoing and future infrastructure improvements can be a strong selling point.
