PM Imran Khan Directs RDA to Inaugurate for Ring Road

PM Imran Khan directs RDA to inaugurate for Ring Road. After approving the development plan, the federal government is all set for the soon inauguration of Rawalpindi Ring Road. Yes, PM Imran has recently directed Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to make the arrangements for holding the inauguration ceremony of the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR). The inauguration of this most-awaited project is the plan after the monsoon season.

Chairman RDA Tariq Murtaza has disclosed this news while briefing on the project on Thursday. He further reveals that Prime Minister Imran Khan would lay the foundation stone of this project in August. Moreover, while speaking to media, he said that the inaugural rock would be laid near the Margalla Hills, which form part of the ring road’s route.

Taria Murtaza also shares that several other infrastructural developments are also under-progress in Rawalpindi, which will be developed soon.

Also, RDA Chairman recently had a meeting with the Prime Minister. He briefs him on the different ongoing development projects in the twin cities. The premier directed him to ensure the timely completion of these projects, particularly the development of the ring road project.

Moreover, while answering a question on the latest development work and update of the project, RDA Chairman Murtaza confirms that the RDA expects the RRR’s drawing and designing work to complete in June.  After which the project will move to the execution stage.
