Here is the detailed description of up till now development activity in Umar Mall and Apartment.

The ground floor is 100% ready with quality gray structure work. Likewise, the concrete skeleton of the roof and floor of the lower ground floor is also completely ready.  Moreover, the Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) roofing  ( Lanter ) of the mezzanine floor is set to be completed shortly.

The lower ground floor of the Umar Mall and Apartments has a 60-foot wide opening road. There is a 240-foot wide road at the opening gates of the ground floor.

Distinctive aspects of construction  

In the so far construction work,  2.5 x 2.5 feet roof pillars are constructed. Moreover, a shared retaining wall has been built from the lower ground floor basement.

This will continue to the last floor of the building. The core purpose of this wall is to provide earthquake protection to the building and minimize the potential damage.

There is an emergency stair in addition to regular stairs and an elevator to facilitate the residents in times of emergency. In the same way, there will be a wide space for the elevator to accommodate a large number of people. The ground floor inner space (Between the rooftop and floor ) will be approximately 11 feet after finishing.

 

 

 

 

This will provide a breathable living on the ground floor. Moreover, there is ample space left across the four walls of the building to allow a generous flow of air.

Description of construction quality in Umar Mall & Apartments development updates

If we talk about the quality of construction, our field engineering team took samples of every mixture of materials before RCC implementation.

This material is tested in government-authorized laboratories. After the receiver of satisfactory results, then the material is used for construction.

For instance, the Pounds Per Square Inch (PSI) for the RRC roofing and flooring is 3000 on every floor of Umar Mall and Apartments. Similarly, the PSI for columns in the building is around 3500  to 4000.

Likewise, the steel comes from PAK STEEL company and is tested in the engineering laboratory of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila. Currently, 60-grade steel is being used in the construction work of our project.
